Whether the equipment was shipped directly to site or to you, the technician, it is important to go through boxes and make sure that the products you have match the Packing Slip and the Scope of Work Document from the work order.[What to do if anything is missing? Any common “mistakes” folks make when verifying equipment (thinking something isn’t there that is? Is there an easy way to check for the HD in the NVR? or should be put something here letting them know they’ll do this as part of the MDF / Setting up the NVR step?]

  •  Correct camera models
  •  Correct camera count
  •  Electrical Mounting Boxes for each camera (EBM’s, Corner Mounts, Wall Mounts, Pendant Kits).
  •  NVR is correct model and Hard Drives are installed (You can verify by detaching the top of the NVR housing/ checking through the local interface)
  •  Wattbox
  •  Network Switches (if applicable)
  •  Ubiquiti Wireless Equipment (Antennas, Mounts, Shielded Cable, Patch Cables, Surge Protection)
  •  Accessories (Rack Mount Ears, Cabinets, Weatherproof Enclosures, etc.)
