This page gives step-by-step instructions on creating an SCW Final Quote using labor hour and run-length adjustments from the quote submitted by our installation partner.
...
When you receive a quote from an install partner, it helps to go ahead and break it down into SCW Hrs. per line-item. Things like Interior Cameras, Exterior Cameras, NVR+Backboard, POE Switches all can be converted using this formula:
SVS Cost / 0.9 / $220 = SCW Hrs.
Let’s make a table of all the line-items they call out converted to SCW Hours to be applied in Knack.
...
Update each interior camera to total 3.03 SCW Hrs.
Update each exterior camera to total 3.28 SCW Hrs.
Update the NVR total to 1.14 SCW Hrs. NOTE: This requires an IMP64 and (1) 24-Port Switch. The Labor will be carried under the NVR and the switch in the MDF will be 0’d out.
NOTE: The IDF Setup includes (1) Switch, (1) Cable-Run to Connect it, and (1) Cabinet, so we’ll need those three products to total 4.17 SCW Hrs. The Switch is 0.63, the “Cable-Run to Switch” we’ll set to 1.5 Hrs., then the Cabinet has 2.04 Hrs. left to reach the overall 4.17 Hrs. we’re being charged for the IDF installation. (In this instance it’s a secondary NVR, but we’ll treat it as a switch).

Final Totals
The quote posted above has a total of $21,800.
The survey cost for the quote above was$356.00
Survey Cost + Partner Quote Total / 0.9 (10%)
$356 + $21,800 / 0.9 = $24,618.00
Now let’s go and see how close we are on a (34) Camera quote after updating the labor totals for each individual item/product……
After updating all the totals, we’re only $424$230.50 90 off the exact SVS + Survey Cost + 10% total. The more items or products a quote includes, the higher than number is going to be because we’re only rounding to the second decimal place.
That’s 1.93 05 SCW Hrs.
NOTE: This step is going to be different for each individual quote and be at the decision of the creator as to where we are going to plug that extra amount in to reach our overall total.
The difference here ($424$230.5090/ 1.93 05 Hrs.) needs to be applied to an area of the quote that can justifiably take it, because these amounts are going to be broken down on the quote page the client views. Take into account things like:
...
For this instance, the technicians will be doing the bulk of the cabling from a customer-supplied lift, so we could add extra time to the cabling section to account for that difference.
NOTE: Now add your LEAF financing totals from the “Edit Quotes” page and you’re good to publish the final.
